Photographer, Scientific Illustrator & Mixed Media Artist
Trinity Osborn | Artist
We live in a world that moves so fast. We sometimes miss seeing the beauty and creation in our day-to-day lives. I strive to capture those everyday slices of time and bring attention to them. Viewers are invited to look more closely at that which is – and has been – in hopes to see the truth, goodness, and beauty that lies within.
Art has always been an intriguing process that enables me to capture objects and moments from everyday life through a personal lens of insight and inquisitiveness. Through my photography, I am attracted to objects of texture and odd arrangements of elements. I enjoy obscuring simple subject matter to means of abstraction or simplification.
With a love for nature, I find myself in awe of the incredible nuances, details and differences of a species. I cherish the quiet moments I’m able to spend observing nature and discovering more about creation as I render scientific illustrations that encompass precision and depth in value.
Throughout my artistic career, the purpose for my art has been allegorical – to tell a story through my photography, art and scientific illustrations. I have found a new breadth in the media I use. I enjoy combining more than one medium and process into a cohesive body of work that is richer in texture, depth, process, and concept so that I might best convey what’s pressing on my heart.
