WFIS members and high school arts enthusiasts in the Puget Sound region are very familiar with dynamo Trinity Osborn, teacher and chair of the Visual Arts Department at The Bear Creek School in Redmond. Trinity has inspired students in an array of studio arts and photography for many years. In 2016, she helped 8 young women students launch their creative careers into the public sphere with the culminating show Exhibition of Perspectives, Personality and Passion at VALA Arts Center. And this fall, Trinity will be a featured breakout sessions presenter at Private Schools Day supporting fellow educators with Introducing Career Concepts into Arts Curriculum. As an Art Educator of the Year award winner, Trinity sets the example for how Visual Arts should be taught at the High School level. She’s involved in her local community; guides high level curriculum development, art shows and programs; and is a practicing artist who helps students prepare for college arts programs and careers. Congratulations Trinity, and thank you for all your work with students and the community!
