20 Under 20

A wonderful opportunity to see some amazing artwork at the Bellevue Arts Museum. The “20 Under 20” exhibition showcases 20 art pieces from artists under the age of twenty. The artwork is located in the Community Education Gallery and is currently on exhibition until May 19th, 2013. BAM describes the show as an “…exhibition that is designed to feature youth ages 13 – 19 as emerging artists and is juried by the Teen Arts Council with the collaboration of Bellevue Arts Museum curators. An exciting opportunity to display work in a public and professional space, this exhibition showcases a range of artistic media highlighting some of the best talent of the next generation of artists and craftsmen.” Ten of these twenty art pieces hanging on the gallery walls were created by my art students. I am so excited for this experience for them and extremely proud of all their hard work.
